Update August 2, FS: Shin Etsu G751

Update August 2:

80 tubes G751 available

85 tubes X23-7762 available

G751 and X23-77 are $4.00 per 1 gram syringe and $3.00 shipping [USA, outside US extra] 1 tube up to 5 tubes.

===================================

Would everyone leave heatware and tech-monkeys evals? and I will do the same.

Thanks to everyone for making this go so well!

Shin Etsu G751 seems to be the flavor of the month for thermal comounds, but it is not easy to find.... and when you do the shipping costs as much as the compound.

I got enough replies that I will do a group buy.

I'll buy a large quantity of it and ship it the cheapest way...I found that I can do it for $6.00 per syringe including shipping...a 2nd through 5th syringe would only add $3.00 per additional syringe.

email me THATWOULDBEGREAT at AOL dot COM

and mods. if you don't want this post in this forum please move it, and if you don't want this kind of effort please delete it.

I'm just tired of reading about Shin Etsu G751 and not being able to buy it at a good price.

Before you go to all that trouble, get one tube and try it out for yourself. My results varied from what the review sites and forum members are posting. I知 37 hours into my second application. My first application was a bust, after three days shin-etsu ran one degree c warmer then as3. The first time I believe I applied the compound incorrectly so I知 retesting. So far my temps are right where they were the first time around. I知 skeptical that they will miraculously drop in 2 more days. You do have a good idea, if I didn稚 already have a tube I would be all for going in on it.

I'm mildly skeptical myself, but I have to try it. At least at this price we afford to experiment.

The G751 is at least as good as the other top compounds, and enough reviews have data that indicates that the G751 is much better.
